    Description

    Original men’s used watch in very good condition. The Longines Evidenza Big Date is an elegant timepiece inspired by the styling of the 1920s, when the Longines brand created distinctive models with a barrel-shaped tonneau case. The Evidenza collection is a contemporary interpretation of these historic designs, combining classic Art Déco aesthetics with modern watchmaking technology.

    The model is distinguished by an elegant silver dial with Arabic indexes and blue hands, and its most distinctive feature is the large date window (Big Date) located at 12 o’clock. A sub-dial of a small second at 6 o’clock gives the composition a harmonious, classic look.

    The offered model comes with the original box and a set of documents. Reference number L2.670.4.73.6 Waterproofness specified by the manufacturer 30 meters. First sale in 2015.

    Case

    The 33.1 mm × 38.75 mm steel case (11 mm case thickness) has a distinctive tonneau shape, inspired by Longines watches from the Art Déco period. The combination of polished surfaces and elegant lines of the case give the model a timeless feel. The elongated profile of the case makes the watch sit perfectly on the wrist despite its compact dimensions. All enclosed under a sapphire convex glass.

    Mechanism

    The watch is equipped with the Longines Caliber L599 automatic movement, developed on the basis of the proven ETA 2892-A2 design and equipped with a Dubois-Depraz large date module. The mechanism has 21 bearing stones, and its walk reserve is about 42 hours. The operating frequency of the mechanism is 28,800 oscillations per hour (4 Hz), which ensures stable and precise operation. The caliber offers a Big Date function displayed in a double window and a small second indication.

    The model is equipped with an elegant steel bracelet with a hidden butterfly clasp, which perfectly matches the classic character of the Evidenza collection and ensures high wearing comfort.

      The watch is presented on a wrist with a circumference of 18 cm.

      The bracelet is adjustable, which gives you the opportunity to increase the size to a wrist circumference of about 21 cm.
