    Description

    Original used watch preserved in very good condition. Longines Master Collection is one of the most recognizable lines of the Swiss brand Longines, valued for its combination of classic elegance with advanced watchmaking complications. The model represents the distinctive style of this collection – an elegant case, a classic chronograph layout and a dial with Roman indexes.

    The featured piece has a black dial with Roman indexes and three chronograph counters, which give the watch an elegant yet sporty feel. The layout of the indications includes a 30-minute counter, a 12-hour counter and a small seconds hand, as well as a date counter located between 4 and 5 o’clock.

    First sale in 2021. The offered model comes with the original box, a set of documents. Reference number L2.759.4.51.7 Water resistance specified by the manufacturer 30 meters.

    Case

    The diameter of the case is 42 mm (with crown 44 mm) height 14 mm, while the ‘lug to lug’ is 49 mm. The steel case is designed in the classic style characteristic of the Master Collection. The black dial with Roman indexes, elegant hands and subtle texture gives the watch a sophisticated feel. A chronograph with three counters ensures legibility and functionality. The whole is enclosed under sapphire glass. The watch has a transparent bezel, so you can see the work of the mechanism.

    Mechanism

    The watch is equipped with the Longines Caliber L688.2 automatic movement, developed on the basis of ETA A08.L01 and equipped with a chronograph column wheel. The mechanism has 27 bearing jewels, and has a walk reserve of about 54 hours. The operating frequency of the mechanism is 28,800 oscillations per hour (4 Hz).

    The caliber supports a chronograph function, a central seconds hand stopwatch, a 30-minute counter, a 12-hour counter and a date stamp, making it one of the most advanced mechanisms used in the Master Collection.

     

    Strap

    The model comes with an elegant alligator leather strap in black with a butterfly clasp. The strap perfectly emphasizes the classic character of the watch and ensures high wearing comfort.

      The watch is presented on a wrist with a circumference of 18 cm.
