The Girard-Perregaux Casquette 2.0 is a unique watch that combines the futuristic design of the 1970s with the modern technology of the 21st century. The model is a reinterpretation of the iconic Casquette produced between 1976 and 1978 and retains its distinctive “cosmic” form with a digital LED display, while being a high-tech timepiece for today’s collectors. The new edition is made from a combination of black ceramic and Grade 5 titanium, ensuring lightweight, durable and highly comfortable wear. The limited edition of up to 820 copies emphasizes the exclusive nature of the model and its collector potential.

    Case

    The case measures 44 mm x 33 mm (36 mm with crown) height 14 mm. The case, made of scratch-resistant black ceramic, is juxtaposed with a titanium caseback and buttons. The ergonomic, streamlined form is inspired by retro-futuristic styling. The whole is complemented by sapphire glass and the characteristic “hood” profile, from which the model took its name. Instead of a classic dial, a horn-shaped LED display was used, which presents the time on demand at the press of a button

    Mechanism

    The watch is equipped with the Girard-Perregaux GP3980-1474 quartz movement. The mechanism consists of 45 components and operates at a frequency of 32,768 Hz. It offers a wide range of functions, including hours, minutes, seconds, day, date, month and year, as well as a chronograph, a second time zone and a “secret date” function that allows you to save an important date displayed automatically at a selected time.

    Strap

    The watch is set on a ceramic bracelet with a rubber interior, which ensures flexibility and comfortable wear. The whole is closed by a folding clasp made of titanium, harmonizing with the technical character of the model

      The watch is presented on a wrist with a circumference of 18 cm.

      The bracelet is adjustable, which gives you the opportunity to increase the size to a wrist circumference of about 21 cm.
