    Description

    Original used in very good condition. The Breitling Old Navitimer is a classic aviation chronograph, a direct heir to the legendary Navitimer line – one of the most recognizable watches in the history of aviation. This model combines the vintage character of the 1990s with the functionality of a professional pilot’s instrument.

    The Navitimer line of watches has water resistance up to 30 meters. Its function consists of a chronograph and date. Reference number A13022 Comes with full set, box and documents. First sale in 1995.

    The Breitling manufactory was founded in 1884. From the very beginning, its founder – Léon Breitling – decided to focus on the production of chronographs and other measuring instruments. All Breitling mechanisms are a guarantee of unparalleled precision of indications.

    Case

    The case diameter is 41 mm (with crown 44 mm) height 13 mm, while the ‘lug to lug’ is 48 mm. The case is made of stainless steel and features a distinctive two-way ring with a logarithmic slide rule for aerial calculations. The white dial features contrasting chronograph subdials. The watch offers a date indication and tri-compax (3 counters) layout, typical of Navitimer models. The date window is placed at 3 o’clock. The whole is enclosed under sapphire glass.

    Mechanism

    The watch is equipped with the Breitling Caliber 13 automatic movement (based on the ETA Valjoux 7750). It has 25 jewels, the walk reserve is about 42 hours, and the operating frequency is 28,800 oscillations per hour (4 Hz).

    The mechanism is prized for its reliability and ease of servicing, and its design is perfect for chronograph watches.

    Strap

    The watch has a new leather strap and original buckle clasp.
