    Description

    Original used watch, preserved in very good condition. The Breitling Navitimer Chronograph Automatic is one of the most recognizable models in the history of aviation watchmaking, being a direct development of the iconic Navitimer line – for decades associated with professional pilots and precision flight instruments. The distinctive dial with an expanded scale and chronograph function highlights its technical heritage and timeless style.

    The Navitimer line of watches has water resistance up to 30 meters. Its function consists of a chronograph and date. Reference number A2332212 Comes with full set, box and documents. First sale in 2010.

    Case

    The case diameter is 42 mm (with crown 45 mm) height 15 mm, while the ‘lug to lug’ is 48 mm. The case is made of stainless steel and features a distinctive two-way ring with a logarithmic slide rule for aerial calculations. The black dial features contrasting chronograph subdials. The watch offers a date indication and tri-compax (3 counters) layout, typical of Navitimer models. The date window is placed between 4 o’clock and 5 o’clock. All enclosed under sapphire glass.

    Mechanism

    The watch is equipped with the Breitling Calibre B23 automatic movement, based on the tried-and-true Valjoux 7753 design. The movement features 27 jewels, a walk reserve of about 48 hours and an operating frequency of 28,800 oscillations per hour (4 Hz). It offers a chronograph function, a date stamp and a small second hand.

    Strap

    The watch has a new leather strap and original buckle clasp.
