    Genuine pre-owned from from the legendary Day-Date President collection, considered one of the most prestigious models in the history of the Rolex brand. The 1984 Day-Date Tridor model is an extremely rare and collectible configuration, combining white, yellow, and rose gold in the distinctive “Tridor” finish. The combination of three shades of 18-karat gold, diamond hour markers, and the iconic President bracelet makes this model a perfect embodiment of the luxurious character of Rolex watches from the 1980s.

    This model is water-resistant up to 100 meters. Reference number 18039B. Its features include a date display and a full day-of-the-week indicator, characteristic of the Day-Date collection. Comes with the original box. Year of manufacture: 1984.

    Case

    The case diameter is 36 mm (approximately 39 mm including the crown), the height is approximately 12 mm, and the lug-to-lug length is approximately 44 mm. The case is crafted from 18-karat white gold and features the distinctive styling of the Day-Date President collection. The signature bezel is made of 18-karat yellow gold. It features a gray dial, diamond hour markers, and classic baton-style hands. The entire watch is protected by scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. At the 3 o’clock position is a date window with the signature Cyclops lens, while at the 12 o’clock position is a full day-of-the-week indicator. The Twinlock crown is screw-down. The watch features a solid case back made of 18-karat white gold.

    Mechanism

    The watch is equipped with the Rolex Calibre 3055 automatic movement, featuring 27 jewels. The movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a power reserve of approximately 48 hours. The caliber is COSC-certified and was one of the first Rolex movements to feature the Quickset date-change function. The movement was designed for high precision and long-term reliability in everyday use.

    In this configuration, the model features the legendary President bracelet crafted from 18-karat white, yellow, and rose gold with a Tridor finish. The distinctive central links create a strikingly beautiful composition of three gold colors, making it one of the most recognizable and rarest configurations in the history of the Day-Date collection. The satin-polished finish perfectly highlights the watch’s luxurious character while ensuring exceptional comfort. The design is completed by a hidden Crownclasp featuring the Rolex logo.
