    Case

    The case is made of stainless steel and retains the historical proportions of the original 1957 model. It has a diameter of 39 mm, a thickness of approximately 14 mm, a lug-to-lug distance of approximately 48 mm, and lugs that are 19 mm wide. A distinctive feature of the model is the rotating bezel with a black aluminum insert and markings made using the Liquidmetal® process. The black dial features distinctive “vintage” hour markers coated with Super-LumiNova luminescent material in a color reminiscent of historic tritium. The domed sapphire crystal faithfully replicates the look of vintage Hesalite while providing high scratch resistance. The screw-down crown and solid case back engraved with the historic Seamaster logo ensure adequate protection for the movement.

    Mechanism

    The watch is equipped with the in-house Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 8806 automatic movement, featuring 35 jewels, operating at a frequency of 25,200 vibrations per hour (3.5 Hz) and offering approximately 55 hours of power reserve. The movement is certified as a Master Chronometer by METAS, guaranteeing exceptional precision and resistance to magnetic fields of up to 15,000 gauss. Decorated with bridges featuring arabesque Geneva stripes, the movement can be admired through a sapphire crystal case back.
