    Case

    The case is made of stainless steel and has a classic diameter of 35 mm, perfectly in keeping with the elegant designs of the 1970s and 1980s. The case is approximately 9 mm thick, the lug-to-lug distance is approximately 42 mm, and the lug width is 18 mm. The silver-toned dial features a minimalist layout of hour markers and slender hands that emphasize the model’s timeless, formal character. The entire watch is protected by domed Hesalite glass, typical of watches from that era. The solid caseback safeguards one of the most highly regarded movements in IWC’s history.

    Mechanism

    The watch is equipped with the IWC Caliber 89 manual-winding movement. The movement operates at a frequency of 18,000 vibrations per hour, is fitted with 17 jewels, and offers a power reserve of approximately 44 hours. Caliber 89, designed by the legendary Albert Pellaton, has been recognized for decades as one of the most reliable and precise manual-winding movements ever created.

    The watch is fitted with an elegant, genuine leather strap that perfectly complements the model’s classic character. The slim profile of the case and its timeless proportions make the watch exceptionally comfortable to wear on the wrist, while maintaining a sophisticated and understated look.
