    The Longines Master Collection Retrograde L2.717.4.71.5 is one of the most technically advanced models in the Master Collection, serving as a perfect example of classic Swiss watchmaking. The elegant silver dial with a guilloché finish, black Roman numerals, and distinctive retrograde indicators creates a strikingly beautiful composition.     The watch being offered dates from January 2015. It is a pre-owned watch, sold in its original set with the box and documentation. It is water-resistant to 30 meters (3 ATM).

    Case

    The case, with a diameter of 44 mm, a thickness of approximately 14.6 mm, a lug-to-lug length of approximately 53 mm, and a lug spacing of 22 mm, iscrafted from high-quality stainless steel. The polished surfaces perfectly highlight the model’s elegant character, while the slim bezel ensures excellent visibility of the richly decorated dial. The silver dial features a guilloché finish, black Roman numerals, and distinctive retrograde hands. The watch is equipped with scratch-resistant sapphire crystal featuring a multi-layer anti-reflective coating and a transparent case back through which you can admire the movement at work.

    Mechanism

    The watch is powered by the Longines Caliber L698.2 automatic movement, developed based on the ETA A07.L01 design and manufactured exclusively for Longines. The movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), features 25 jewels, and offers approximately 46 hours of power reserve. In addition to displaying hours and minutes, the caliber features four retrograde complications: a date display, day of the week, small seconds, and a second time zone in 24-hour format. This mechanism, in which the hands instantly return to their starting position upon reaching the end of the scale, is one of the most striking elements of classic watchmaking.

     

    Strap

    This model features an original new brown leather strap that perfectly complements the classic silver dial and the elegant character of the Master Collection. Comfort is ensured by the original Longines folding clasp made of stainless steel.

    • Wrist

      The watch is presented on a wrist with a circumference of 18 cm.

      The strap is adjustable, which gives you the ability to increase the size to a wrist circumference of about 22 cm.
