It is a pre-owned watch, sold in its original set with documentation and box, including the original chronometer certificate issued by the Bureaux Suisses de Contrôle Officiel de la Marche des Montres (COSC), confirming that it has passed rigorous accuracy tests.     Case

    The Oyster case, with a diameter of 34 mm, a thickness of approximately 11 mm, a lug-to-lug length of approximately 42 mm, and a lug width of 19 mm, is crafted from stainless steel. The light-colored dial features applied hour markers and a date window at the 3 o’clock position. The screw-down Twinlock crown and screw-down case back ensure high durability, in keeping with the philosophy of the Oyster collection. The watch is complemented by a plexiglass crystal, characteristic of Rolex models from this period, which gives the watch a unique, collector’s-worthy character.

    Mechanism

    The watch is equipped with the in-house Rolex Caliber 1030 automatic movement, featuring the Perpetual automatic winding system. The movement operates at a frequency of 18,000 vibrations per hour (2.5 Hz), features 25 jewels, and offers approximately 42 hours of power reserve. The included COSC certificate from 1959 confirms that the movement has passed official Swiss chronometer tests and met the rigorous accuracy standards required for chronometers.

    This model features a classic Rolex Oyster bracelet made of stainless steel, whose sporty yet elegant character perfectly complements the timeless design of the case. The original Rolex clasp ensures comfort and security during everyday use.
