    Case

    The monolithic 45.5-mm case is crafted from a single block of black ceramic and combines brushed surfaces with polished details. It is approximately 17.6 mm thick, 51.5 mm long from lug to lug, and 22 mm wide between the lugs. The unidirectional rotating ceramic bezel features a diving scale made using Liquidmetal™ technology and a blue rubber segment covering the first 15 minutes. The black ceramic dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal with a double-sided anti-reflective coating. Readability is ensured by applied hour markers and hands filled with Super-LumiNova, while an additional blue GMT hand allows for simultaneous time reading in a second time zone. A screw-down crown, a helium escape valve at the 10 o’clock position, and a case back with the Naiad Lock system guarantee water resistance up to 600 meters. The transparent case back allows you to observe the movement in action.

    Mechanism

    The watch is powered by Omega’s in-house automatic Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 8906 movement, featuring a GMT function and date display. The caliber operates at a frequency of 25,200 vibrations per hour, features 38 jewels, and has two mainspring barrels connected in series, providing approximately 60 hours of power reserve. It features a Co-Axial escapement, a free-swinging balance wheel, and a Si14 silicon hairspring, which reduces friction and enhances long-term stability. The movement is resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss and is certified as a Master Chronometer following METAS testing. The independent local hour hand adjustment function allows you to conveniently change the time zone without stopping the seconds hand and without losing the precise time setting. The rotor and bridges are adorned with Omega’s signature Geneva waves pattern arranged in an arabesque design.
