    Description

    The IWC Ingenieur Automatic 42 mm, reference IW338903, is a modern, monochromatic interpretation of the sporty Ingenieur, crafted from black ceramic. The integrated case and bracelet design, black dial, and in-house movement give the model a technical, contemporary character.

    The certificate lists reference IW338903 and serial number 59…… First sold in August 2026 —manufacturer’s warranty valid through 2034. The watch is water-resistant to 100 m / 10 ATM. The set includes the watch, box, and documentation. This is a completely unworn watch.

    Case

    The case, with a diameter of 42 mm and a thickness of 11.5 mm, is made of exceptionally hard, scratch-resistant black zirconia-based ceramic. The multi-piece construction includes a ceramic case ring, bezel, and caseback, held together by functional screws set into an inner titanium ring. The screw-down crown, its guards, and the integrated bracelet are also made of ceramic. The surfaces were satin-finished and sandblasted, then accented with polished bevels, creating a striking contrast despite the all-black color scheme. The distinctive bezel with five screws pays homage to the Ingenieur SL design created by Gérald Genta in 1976. A domed sapphire crystal with a double-sided anti-reflective coating protects the black dial featuring a three-dimensional lattice pattern, while the tinted, transparent case back allows a view of the movement in action.

    Mechanism

    The IWC Caliber 82110 in-house automatic movement features the Pellaton winding system and offers a power reserve of approximately 60 hours. The movement drives the central time display and the date window.
