    Case

    The case, with a diameter of 42 mm and a thickness of approximately 15.8 mm, is made of stainless steel. The lug width is 20 mm. The unidirectional rotating diving bezel features a black ceramic ring with a dive time scale. The black dial features applied hour markers and hands coated with a luminescent substance, and the date window is positioned at the 3 o’clock position. The design is complemented by a screw-down crown and a helium escape valve at the 10 o’clock position. The dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on both sides, while the see-through case back allows you to observe the movement in action.

    Mechanism

    The watch is equipped with the OMEGA Co-Axial Caliber 8500 in-house automatic movement, certified by the COSC as a chronometer. The caliber operates at a frequency of 25,200 vibrations per hour, or 3.5 Hz, and offers approximately 60 hours of power reserve. The movement features a Co-Axial escapement, a free-sprung balance wheel, two mainspring barrels connected in series, and a bidirectional automatic winding mechanism. It displays the hours, minutes, central seconds, and date, and the independent hour hand adjustment facilitates time zone changes.

    Strap

    This model features an original OMEGA steel bracelet, whose sturdy construction reflects the sporty character of the Planet Ocean collection. The bracelet is fitted with a folding clasp with a safety catch and a diving extension, allowing the watch to be adjusted to fit over a wetsuit.
