    Description

    The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph “The Beast” 25th Anniversary, reference 26237ST.OO.1000ST.01, is an anniversary reissue of the first Royal Oak Offshore model from 1993. Unveiled in 2018, the watch retains the distinctive, robust silhouette of the original, the blue “Petite Tapisserie” dial, the integrated steel bracelet, and the automatic chronograph display. The model features a date display and a tachymeter scale, and is water-resistant to 100 meters. The watch shown here is from 2021; it is pre-owned and comes complete with its original box and documentation.

    Case

    The case, with a diameter of 42 mm and a thickness of approximately 14.4 mm, is crafted from stainless steel, featuring a distinctive combination of vertical brushing and hand-polished bevels. The octagonal bezel, secured by eight hexagonal screws, along with the visible gasket and crown guards, create the recognizable Royal Oak Offshore design. The screw-down crown and chronograph pushers are coated in blue rubber. The blue dial with a “Petite Tapisserie” guilloché pattern features applied white gold hour markers, luminescent-coated hands, three chronograph sub-dials, a date window at 3 o’clock, and an inner ring with a tachymeter scale. The dial is protected by sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, while the solid steel case back is engraved with “Royal Oak Offshore.”

    Mechanism

    The watch is equipped with an Audemars Piguet Caliber 3126/3840 automatic movement featuring a chronograph and date display. The caliber operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, features 59 jewels, and provides approximately 50 hours of power reserve. The movement displays hours, minutes, a small seconds hand, the date, and chronograph timing via a central chronograph hand and two counters.

    Strap

    The watch features a distinctive, integrated stainless steel bracelet. The brushed surfaces of the links are complemented by polished bevels, which highlight the model’s multifaceted design. The bracelet fastens with a sturdy stainless steel butterfly clasp.

      The watch is presented on a wrist with a circumference of 18 cm.
