    Description

    The Bulgari Bulgari Carbongold Via dei Condotti, reference BB40CL, isa special edition created as a tribute to the brand’s historic boutique at Via dei Condotti 10 in Rome. The distinctive, extremely lightweight carbon construction, black dial, and double “BVLGARI BVLGARI” engraving on the bezel create a modern interpretation of one of the Roman manufacturer’s most recognizable designs.
    The model dates from around 2010. The factory-rated water resistance is 30 meters, or 3 bar. The watch is pre-owned and shows signs of wear visible in the photos. There are two faint scratches on the crystal, as shown in the photo. The set includes only the watch; it does not come with the original box or documentation.

    Case

    The round case, measuring 40 mm in diameter and approximately 9 mm thick, is crafted from a lightweight carbon composite with a steel structure and features a side plaque in 18-karat white gold inscribed with the year “1884.” The fixed carbon bezel is adorned with the distinctive double “BVLGARI BVLGARI” inscription. The black dial features applied hour markers, large Arabic numerals at 12 and 6 o’clock, a central seconds hand, and a date window at 3 o’clock. The inscription “VIA DEI CONDOTTI 10 ROMA” refers to the historic address of Bulgari’s flagship boutique. The watch is equipped with a sapphire crystal and a transparent case back secured by six screws.

    Mechanism

    The watch is equipped with a Bulgari Caliber 220 mechanical self-winding movement, based on the ETA 2892-A2 design. The movement features 21 jewels, operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, and offers approximately 42 hours of power reserve. It displays hours, minutes, seconds, and the date.

    Strap

    The black leather strap accentuates the watch’s sporty yet elegant character and complements the matte carbon case well. The strap features a classic pin buckle.
