The integrated case design and quick-change bracelet system mean that this model does not use a classic strap attachment with traditionally sized lugs.

The watch features a unidirectional rotating bezel with a blue ceramic insert, a clear diving scale, and a milled edge that makes it easy to operate even while wearing gloves. The bezel markings are filled with Super-LumiNova. The large screw-down crown is protected by solid titanium guards, while the helium valve allows the watch to be used during saturation diving.

The metallic blue dial features a sunburst finish and a geometric pattern composed of four-pointed stars, characteristic of the contemporary DEFY collection. The large applied hour markers and hands are coated with three types of Super-LumiNova X1, which emit light in different colors, making it easier to distinguish the hours, minutes, and seconds underwater. The orange accents pay homage to Zenith’s historic diving watches, and the date window is positioned at the 3 o’clock position. The dial is protected by scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.
