Description

The Rolex GMT-Master II, reference number 126713GRNR—known among collectors by the unofficial nickname “Zombie”—is one of Rolex’s most sought-after releases in recent years. The model debuted at the Watches & Wonders 2023 fair and quickly gained recognition thanks to its unique combination of Oystersteel, 18-karat yellow gold, and the distinctive two-tone Cerachrom bezel in shades of black and gray. This color combination earned the watch the collector’s nickname “Zombie,” which quickly caught on among Rolex enthusiasts.

The first sale took place on November 10, 2024. This is a pre-owned watch, offered as a complete set with the original box, Rolex warranty card, and manufacturer’s documentation. The manufacturer’s international warranty is valid until November 10, 2029. Water-resistant to 100 meters (10 ATM).

Case

The 40-mm case is crafted from a combination of Oystersteel and 18-karat yellow gold, characteristic of the Rolesor version. It is approximately 11.9 mm thick, with a lug-to-lug length of approximately 48 mm and a width between the lugs of 20 mm. The model features the iconic bidirectional rotating bezel with a black and gray (GRNR) Cerachrom ceramic insert and an engraved 24-hour scale made of yellow gold. Screw-down Triplock crown. The model features an elegant black dial with applied hour markers made of 18-karat yellow gold. All hour markers and hands are filled with Chromalight luminescent material, which emits an intense blue light ensuring excellent readability after dark. The distinctive gold GMT hand allows for simultaneous reading of a second time zone in conjunction with the 24-hour scale on the Cerachrom bezel. The date window at the 3 o’clock position is magnified by a classic Cyclops lens. The dial is protected by scratch-resistant sapphire crystal featuring the distinctive Cyclops lens above the date window.

Mechanism

The watch is equipped with the in-house Rolex Caliber 3285 movement with Perpetual automatic winding. The movement features the patented Chronergy escapement, a Parachrom hairspring resistant to magnetic fields, and the Paraflex shock-absorption system, which enhances shock resistance. The caliber operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), features 31 jewels, and offers approximately 70 hours of power reserve. The movement is certified as a Superlative Chronometer, guaranteeing a precision of −2/+2 seconds per dayonce mounted in the case.

Strap

This model features an original Rolex Jubilee bracelet, crafted from a combination of Oystersteel and 18-karat yellow gold. The five-row design ensures exceptional comfort, and the Oysterlock folding clasp with the Easylink system allows the bracelet to be quickly extended by approximately 5 mm without the use of tools.
