    The Chopard Mille Miglia Classic Racing GMT Chronograph is one of the most iconic watches inspired by the legendary Italian 1000 Miglia race.     The watch offered here, with reference number 16/8992, was first sold in 2002. It is a pre-owned watch, offered as a complete set that includes the original Chopard box, a certificate of authenticity, a COSC chronometer certificate, and a full set of manufacturer’s documents.     Case

    The 42-mm case is crafted from high-quality stainless steel, finished with satin-brushed and polished surfaces. A distinctive feature of this model is the 24-hour GMT bezel, which allows for the display of a second time zone. The watch features an elegant white dial. The contrasting chronograph sub-dials, the red accents of the Mille Miglia collection, and the easy-to-read 24-hour GMT scale ensure excellent readability. The applied hour markers and hands are coated with luminescent material, ensuring that the time remains easy to read even after dark. A large date window is located at the 3 o’clock position. The dial is protected by scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, while the transparent sapphire crystal case back allows you to admire the movement’s operation.

    Mechanism

    The watch is equipped with a Chopard COSC Chronometer automatic movement, featuring 25 jewels, operating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), and offering approximately 48 hours of power reserve. The movement is COSC-certified (Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres), confirming its high precision. It features a chronograph, GMT (second time zone), date display, and small seconds.

    Strap

    The watch features an original black Chopard rubber strap, whose texture is inspired by the tread pattern of classic cars that competed in the Mille Miglia race. The strap is finished with an original steel clasp bearing the Chopard logo and perfectly highlights the sporty character of the collection.
