    Description

    An original, unworn Longines watch from the iconic Legend Diver collection, a contemporary interpretation of the brand’s historic diving watches from the 1960s. The Longines Legend Diver model stands out with its distinctive inner rotating bezel, operated by an additional crown, and a timeless design inspired by classic Super Compressor watches. In this version, the case is coated with black PVD, giving the watch a modern, sporty, and exceptionally bold character. The black dial with contrasting hour markers and the leather strap perfectly highlight its vintage style.

    This model is water-resistant up to 300 meters. Reference number L3.774.2.50.9. It displays the hours, minutes, seconds, and date. Comes with a set of documents and the original box. The first sale took place in March 2019.

    Case

    The case is made of stainless steel with a black PVD coating. It has a diameter of 42 mm, a thickness of approximately 12.7 mm, a lug-to-lug distance of approximately 52 mm, and a lug width of 22 mm. A distinctive design feature is the internal rotating diving bezel, operated by an additional screw-down crown located at the 2 o’clock position. The black dial features a vintage finish and is equipped with large Arabic numerals and hands coated with Super-LumiNova luminescent material. The watch is protected by a domed sapphire crystal with a multi-layer anti-reflective coating. The screw-down case back is adorned with an embossed diver’s logo—a signature element of the Legend Diver collection.

    Mechanism

    The watch is equipped with the Longines Calibre L888.2 automatic movement, based on the ETA A31.L01 design. The movement operates at a frequency of 25,200 vibrations per hour (3.5 Hz), features 21 jewels, and offers a power reserve of approximately 64 hours. The caliber is renowned for its high reliability, excellent performance, and increased autonomy compared to standard ETA designs.

     

    Strap

    The watch features an original black rubber strap with a distinctly sporty look that perfectly complements the matte PVD finish of the case. The strap features a single-clasp buckle bearing the Longines logo, ensuring comfort and a secure fit on the wrist.

      The watch is presented on a wrist with a circumference of 18 cm.
