    Description

    The Longines Flagship Heritage Chronograph is an elegant chronograph whose design draws inspiration from the brand’s classic watches from the mid-20th century. Reference L4.756.8.72.2 combines an 18-karat rose gold case, a harmonious silver dial, and an automatic movement with a chronograph function. The understated proportions of the 37.8-mm case give the watch a timeless, dress-watch character. The model is water-resistant to 30 meters, protecting it from accidental splashes.
    The watch offered here dates from 2005. It is a pre-owned watch, offered as a complete set, including the original Longines box and manufacturer’s documentation.

    Case

    The round case, with a diameter of 37.8 mm and a thickness of approximately 12.8 mm, is crafted from 18-karat rose gold, as confirmed by the 750 hallmark visible on the case back. The silver dial features applied hour markers, slender hands, and two symmetrically arranged sub-dials: a 30-minute chronograph sub-dial at 9 o’clock and a small seconds sub-dial at 3 o’clock. The date window is located at the 6 o’clock position. The dial is protected by Hesalite crystal, while the solid case back is adorned with the distinctive Flagship medallion depicting a ship against a blue enamel background.

    Mechanism

    The watch is equipped with a Longines automatic movement, Caliber L651, based on the ETA 2894-2 design. The caliber has 37 jewels, operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), and provides approximately 42 hours of power reserve. The movement displays the hours, minutes, small seconds, and date, and features a chronograph function with a central seconds hand and a 30-minute counter.

    Strap

    The watch features a black alligator leather strap that complements the rose gold case and highlights the watch’s classic character. The strap fits elegantly around the wrist and is fastened with a buckle.
