    Description

    Original used watch, very good condition. The IWC Pilot’s Watch Chronograph “Le Petit Prince” is one of the most recognizable models inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s famous novel. Its distinctive navy blue dial, the aviation DNA of the Schaffhausen-based manufacturer, and excellent readability have made this model a long-standing favorite among collectors and enthusiasts of aviation watches.

    Water resistance rated by the manufacturer at 60 meters. The reference number is IW377706. The set includes all components, the box, and the card. It was manufactured in October 2014.

    Case

    The case is made of stainless steel, with a diameter of 43 mm, a thickness of approximately 15 mm, and a lug-to-lug width of approximately 53 mm. The surface has a satin finish. The distinctive navy blue “Le Petit Prince” dial features large Arabic numerals coated with luminescent material, as well as the hands. The day of the week and date window are positioned at 3 o’clock. The entire watch is protected by a domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, secured against sudden pressure drops. The screw-down case back is adorned with an engraved image of The Little Prince.

    Mechanism

    The watch is equipped with the IWC Caliber 79320 automatic movement, operating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz). The movement features 25 jewels and offers approximately 44 hours of power reserve. Its design, based on a proven chronograph architecture, ensures high reliability, precise stopwatch operation, and ease of servicing. The movement features hours, minutes, small seconds, a 12-hour chronograph, and day-of-the-week and date displays.
