    Description

    An authentic IWC from the iconic Pilot’s Watch Chronograph collection, inspired by historic aviation watches used by military pilots. This model is a modern interpretation of the classic pilot’s chronograph, combining the distinctive readability of the dial with a luxurious finish and a unique bronze case. The deep blue dial, combined with the warm bronze tone, gives the watch an exceptionally elegant and distinctive character.

    This model is water-resistant to 100 meters. Reference number IW388109. Its functions include a chronograph, a date display, and a day-of-the-week indicator. The set includes a complete set of documents and the original box. First sold in December 2024 (manufacturer’s warranty valid until 2030).

    Case

    The case diameter is 41 mm, the height is 14.5 mm, and the lug-to-lug length is approximately 51 mm. The case is made of bronze, which develops a unique patina over time. The blue sunburst dial changes hue depending on the light, and the large luminescent hour markers and pilot-style hands ensure excellent readability. The whole is protected by a domed sapphire crystal with a double-sided anti-reflective coating, resistant to sudden pressure changes. A double day-date display is located at the 3 o’clock position, while the chronograph sub-dials are arranged in a classic layout. The crown is screw-down. The watch features a transparent case back, allowing a view of the IWC in-house movement at work.

    Mechanism

    The watch is equipped with the IWC Caliber 69385 in-house automatic movement, consisting of 242 components and 33 jewels. The movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers approximately 46 hours of power reserve. The caliber’s design was developed with high precision and reliability in mind, and its operation can be admired through the transparent case back.

    Strap

    In this configuration, the model features a high-quality new blue fabric strap that perfectly complements the brown case and blue dial. The design is finished with a steel clasp bearing the IWC logo.

    • Wrist

      The watch is presented on a wrist with a circumference of 18 cm.

      The strap is adjustable, which gives you the ability to increase the size to a wrist circumference of about 22 cm.
