The watch combines a case made of 18-karat Oro Rosso red gold with a deep blue dial created for the Bucherer Blue Editions series. The classic Radiomir 1940 case design, the small seconds hand, and the in-house automatic movement come together to create an elegant and technically advanced timepiece.

    The PAM00695 model was manufactured in 2016. The case has a diameter of 45 mm, and the watch is water-resistant to 100 meters. The watch offered here is pre-owned and is sold with the original Panerai travel case, without the standard display box or documentation.

    Case

    The Radiomir 1940 case, with a diameter of 45 mm and a thickness of approximately 12.5 mm, is crafted from polished 18-karat Oro Rosso red gold. The distinctive, integrated lugs are part of the case’s monobloc construction, and their spacing is 24 mm. The blue sandwich-style dial features large Arabic numerals at the 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions, as well as elongated hour markers filled with luminescent material. The small seconds sub-dial is positioned at the 9 o’clock position. The gold hands and hour markers create an elegant contrast with the deep hue of the dial. The entire watch is protected by scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, while the see-through caseback allows you to observe the movement in action.

    Mechanism

    The watch is equipped with Panerai’s in-house automatic movement, Caliber P.4000. The movement features 31 jewels, operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), and offers approximately 72 hours—or 3 days—of power reserve. Two mainspring barrels ensure a steady supply of energy, while the off-center micro-rotor is responsible for automatically winding the movement while maintaining a slim profile. The caliber displays hours, minutes, and a small seconds hand.

    Strap

    The model features a blue alligator leather strap with contrasting light-colored stitching. The strap’s color harmonizes beautifully with the blue dial and highlights the unique character of the Bucherer Blue Editions collection. The strap is finished with a classic Panerai buckle made of Oro Rosso red gold.
