    Description

    The Cartier Santos de Cartier W2SA0009 is one of the most recognizable models in the history of watchmaking, originating from a collection created in honor of aviation pioneer Alberto Santos-Dumont. The distinctive square case with visible screws on the bezel and the harmonious combination of stainless steel and 18-karat yellow gold give the watch a timeless and exceptionally elegant character. Thanks to its versatile design, this model is perfect both as an everyday watch and as an elegant timepiece for special occasions.

    This watch was manufactured in August 2023 (manufacturer’s warranty valid through 2031). It is a pre-owned watch, sold in its original set with the box and documentation. Water-resistant up to 100 meters (10 ATM).

    Case

    The case, measuring 39.8 × 47.5 mm, approximately 9.4 mm thick, and with a lug width of 21 mm, is crafted from stainless steel and 18-karat yellow gold. The distinctive bezel with exposed screws, the polished and satin-finished surfaces, and the octagonal crown adorned with a blue synthetic spinel highlight the unique style of the Santos collection. The model features a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating.

    Mechanism

    The watch is equipped with the Cartier Calibre 1847 MC in-house automatic movement, operating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz). The movement consists of 184 components, features 23 jewels, and offers approximately 42 hours of power reserve. The design incorporates features that enhance resistance to magnetic fields, ensuring high precision and reliability during everyday use.

     

    Strap

    The watch is equipped with an original Cartier bracelet made of stainless steel and 18-karat yellow gold. The model features the patented SmartLink system, which allows for quick, tool-free adjustment of the bracelet’s length, and the QuickSwitch system, which enables the bracelet to be instantly swapped out for a strap.

    • Wrist

      The watch is presented on a wrist with a circumference of 18 cm.

      The bracelet is adjustable, which gives you the opportunity to increase the size to a wrist circumference of about 21 cm.
