    Description

    The Cartier Santos Octagon, reference 0907, is a unique, now-discontinued interpretation of one of the French jewelry house’s most recognizable watches. The geometric, octagonal bezel, exposed screws, and integrated bracelet create the distinctive style of the Santos collection. The two-tone combination of stainless steel and 18-karat yellow gold gives the watch an elegant, jewelry-like character.

    The watch offered here was manufactured around 1990. It is a pre-owned watch, sold exclusively with a Cartier travel case. The original box and documentation are not included.

    Case

    The case, approximately 24 mm wide and 31 mm long, is made of stainless steel. Its central feature is a fixed, octagonal bezel in 18-karat yellow gold, adorned with eight distinctive screws. The light-colored dial features black Roman hour markers, an outer minute track, and blue hands. The entire watch is protected by scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.

    Mechanism

    The watch is equipped with the Cartier Calibre 2670 automatic movement, based on a Swiss design from the ETA 2670 family. The caliber operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, features 25 jewels, and provides a power reserve of approximately 38–39 hours. The movement displays the hours, minutes, and central seconds, as well as the date. The automatic winding mechanism ensures that the watch is powered by the natural movements of the wrist.

     

    Strap

    The watch is mounted on an original, integrated Cartier bracelet crafted from stainless steel and 18-karat yellow gold elements. The two-tone design blends harmoniously with the gold bezel, emphasizing the watch’s luxurious character. The bracelet features a folding clasp that maintains the uniform and elegant lines of the entire design.
