    An authentic pre-owned Roger Dubuis watch from the prestigious Sympathie collection, one of the most distinctive and recognizable lines in the history of independent watchmaking. The Sympathie model stands out for its exceptionally original case shape, which has become one of the symbols of the Roger Dubuis brand and remains one of the manufacturer’s most sought-after designs to this day. The combination of 18-karat rose gold with an elegant white dial and a black alligator leather strap gives the watch an exceptionally exclusive and timeless character. Production of many variants of the Sympathie collection was strictly limited, which further underscores the collectible potential of this model.

    This model is water-resistant up to 30 meters. Reference number SY40 14 5. It displays the hours, minutes, and seconds. The watch was crafted in accordance with the Roger Dubuis brand philosophy, which, since its inception, has been renowned for hand-finishing its components and producing exclusive timepieces in small batches.

    Case

    The case is crafted from 18-karat rose gold and features the multidimensional, slightly cushion-shaped form characteristic of the Sympathie collection, with exceptionally elegant proportions. The case diameter is 41 mm, the thickness is approximately 10.9 mm, the lug-to-lug distance is approximately 50.6 mm, and the lug width is 23 mm. The polished surfaces perfectly highlight the noble character of the gold construction. The white dial is adorned with Roman numerals, which give the watch a classic and luxurious look. The watch is equipped with scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a transparent case back that allows you to observe the movement in action.

    Mechanism

    The watch is equipped with the Roger Dubuis RD14 in-house automatic movement—one of the brand’s first in-house calibers, bearing the prestigious Geneva Seal (Poinçon de Genève). The movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, offers approximately 48 hours of power reserve, and consists of 172 hand-finished components. The distinctive “swan neck” regulator and Côtes de Genève decorations underscore the high level of traditional Swiss haute horlogerie.

    Strap

    The watch is mounted on an elegant black strap crafted from alligator leather. The classic texture of the exotic leather complements the rose gold case perfectly, emphasizing the watch’s formal and exclusive character. The design is completed by a signature buckle crafted from 18-karat rose gold, ensuring comfort and a perfect fit on the wrist.
