Description

The Rolex Yacht-Master II 116680 is an advanced sports watch designed for competitive sailing. The model features a white dial, a blue ceramic bezel, and a unique programmable countdown function that allows for precise control of the time remaining until the start of a race. The steel Oyster case has a diameter of 44 mm, and its water resistance up to 100 meters allows for safe use of the watch during daily activities and contact with water.
The watch offered here, with reference number 116680 and serial number 84…… was first sold on June 29, 2013, by the authorized retailer Château d’Ivoire. This is a pre-owned watch, offered as a complete set including the original Rolex box and warranty card.

Case

The 44-mm Oyster case is crafted from Oystersteel and features a monobloc middle case, a screw-down case back, and a screw-down Triplock crown with a triple-seal system. The bidirectional Ring Command bezel is fitted with a blue Cerachrom insert made of scratch-resistant ceramic and serves as the control element for the countdown mechanism. The dial is protected by sapphire crystal. The white dial features contrasting blue and red accents, clear time indications, and a programmable countdown scale from 10 to 0 minutes, characteristic of the Yacht-Master II model.

Mechanism

The watch is powered by the Rolex Caliber 4161 in-house automatic movement, developed and manufactured by Rolex. The caliber features automatic winding via the Perpetual rotor and offers a power reserve of approximately 72 hours. The movement is equipped with a column wheel and a vertical clutch, ensuring immediate and precise activation of the chronograph functions. In addition to displaying hours, minutes, and a central seconds hand, the caliber supports a programmable regatta countdown with mechanical memory and the ability to synchronize while in operation.

Strap

This model features the original three-row Oyster bracelet made of Oystersteel. The bracelet features an Oysterlock safety clasp, which prevents accidental opening, and the Easylink system, which allows for a quick adjustment of the bracelet’s length by approximately 5 mm.

Wrist

The watch is presented on a wrist with a circumference of 18 cm.

The bracelet is adjustable, which gives you the opportunity to increase the size to a wrist circumference of about 20 cm.
