    The Breitling Chronomat 44 Frecce Tricolori, reference number AB01104D/BC62, is a collector’s chronograph created as a tribute to the Italian aerobatic team, the Pattuglia Acrobatica Nazionale. The model features a black dial, silver chronograph counters, red hands, and the Frecce Tricolori emblem at the 12 o’clock position. The watch was produced in a limited edition of 1,000 pieces.

    Case

    The 44-mm-diameter case is crafted from stainless steel and features a combination of satin-finished and polished surfaces. The unidirectional rotating steel bezel is equipped with distinctive lugs and numerals filled with black rubber. The design is complemented by a screw-down crown, chronograph pushers, and a solid caseback adorned with the silhouettes of ten Aermacchi aircraft belonging to the Frecce Tricolori team.
    The black dial features three contrasting silver chronograph sub-dials, applied hour markers, and hands coated with a luminescent substance. The red sub-dial hands and the team’s logo in the colors of the Italian flag emphasize the unique character of this edition. The date window is positioned between the 4 and 5 o’clock positions. The dial is protected by scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating.

    Mechanism

    The watch is equipped with the Breitling Caliber 01 in-house automatic movement, certified by the COSC as a chronometer. The caliber features 47 jewels, operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, and offers approximately 70 hours of power reserve. The movement displays hours, minutes, a small seconds hand, and the date, and powers a chronograph with a central seconds hand, a 30-minute counter, and a 12-hour counter.

    Strap

    The model features an original black rubber strap embossed with the Breitling logo. The strap complements the black dial well, offers water resistance, and ensures comfort during everyday use. The watch is finished with a Breitling steel folding clasp.
