    Description

    The Cartier Tank Solo XL, model number W5200028, is the automatic version of one of the brand’s most recognizable rectangular watches. The model retains the classic elements of the Tank collection: a silver dial, Roman numerals, blue sword-shaped hands, and a crown set with a blue cabochon. A practical date window is located at the 6 o’clock position. The watch is water-resistant to 30 meters. First sold in 2019. This pre-owned watch is offered as a complete set with its original box, warranty card, and Cartier documentation.

    Case

    The rectangular case is made of stainless steel. It measures 31 × 40.85 mm and is approximately 7.8 mm thick. The opaline silver dial features black Roman numerals, an inner “chemin de fer” minute track, and blue heat-treated steel sword-shaped hands. The date window is located at the 6 o’clock position. The dial is protected by scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The distinctive, pearl-finished crown is adorned with a blue synthetic spinel set in a cabochon cut.

    Mechanism

    The watch is equipped with a Cartier Calibre 049 automatic movement. The caliber features 21 jewels, operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, and provides approximately 42 hours of power reserve. The movement powers the central hour, minute, and second hands, as well as the date display at the 6 o’clock position.

    Strap

    This model features an original stainless steel bracelet. The geometric links combine satin-finished and polished surfaces, echoing the rectangular shape of the case. The bracelet is secured with a Cartier stainless steel folding clasp.
