    Description

    The IWC Ingenieur Chronograph Edition “Nico Rosberg,” reference IW379603, is a unique chronograph developed in collaboration with Formula 1 driver Nico Rosberg. The model was produced in a limited edition of just 250 pieces. The silver dial with vivid yellow chronograph hands is inspired by Nico Rosberg’s distinctive racing helmet. The watch features a flyback chronograph, a date display, and water resistance up to 120 meters. This particular piece was first sold in 2018. The watch is pre-owned and comes complete with its original box and documentation.

    Case

    The case, with a diameter of 45 mm and a thickness of approximately 15.5 mm, is crafted from lightweight, satin-finished titanium. The crown, chronograph pushers, and bezel screws are made of black zirconium oxide, whose durability perfectly complements the model’s sporty character. The silver-toned dial features bold hour markers and hands coated with luminescent material, as well as contrasting yellow chronograph hands. The integrated hour and minute counters are positioned at the 12 o’clock mark, while the small seconds sub-dial and date window are located at the 6 o’clock mark. The dial is protected by a flat sapphire crystal with a double-sided anti-reflective coating. The case back incorporates a piece of carbon fiber from a Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One race car, protected by sapphire crystal and featuring Nico Rosberg’s name and the “One Out of 250” limited edition marking.

    Mechanism

    The watch is equipped with the IWC Caliber 89361 in-house automatic movement, featuring a winding system with dual pawl mechanisms. The caliber features 38 jewels, operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, and provides a power reserve of approximately 68 hours. The movement displays hours, minutes, a small seconds hand, and the date, and features a chronograph with a central seconds hand, an integrated hour and minute counter, and a practical flyback function.

    Strap

    The watch features a black rubber strap with an embossed calfskin insert and contrasting gray stitching. The strap fastens with an original IWC folding clasp made of titanium.

      The watch is presented on a wrist with a circumference of 18 cm.
