    Description

    The IWC Schaffhausen Pilot’s Watch Chronograph TOP GUN, reference IW389101, is a sporty aviation watch distinguished by its matte case made of black zirconium oxide-based ceramic. The easy-to-read black dial features a chronograph function, a small seconds hand, and a dual display for the day of the week and date. The watch is powered by the in-house IWC Caliber 69380 automatic movement. It is water-resistant to 60 meters. Date of first sale: September 14, 2021. This pre-owned watch is offered as a complete set with the original box (travel case), warranty card, and IWC documentation.

    Case

    The matte case, with a diameter of 44.5 mm and a thickness of 15.7 mm, is made of scratch-resistant black ceramic. The length from lug to lug is approximately 53 mm, and the lug-to-lug width is 21 mm. The screw-down crown, chronograph pushers, and solid case back are made of titanium. The black dial features contrasting Arabic numerals and hands coated with luminescent material. The chronograph minute counter is positioned at 12 o’clock, the hour counter at 9 o’clock, and the small seconds sub-dial with a red accent at 6 o’clock. The day-of-the-week indicator and date window are located at 3 o’clock. The domed sapphire crystal features a double-sided anti-reflective coating and is protected against displacement caused by sudden drops in pressure. An internal soft-iron cage protects the movement from the effects of magnetic fields.

    Mechanism

    The watch is equipped with the IWC Caliber 69380 in-house automatic movement. The caliber consists of 242 components, features 33 jewels, operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, and provides approximately 46 hours of power reserve. The movement features hour, minute, and small-second hands, a day-of-the-week indicator, a date window, and a chronograph capable of measuring time up to 12 hours.

    Strap

    The model features a black textile strap 21 mm wide attached to the case. The durable material emphasizes the military character of the TOP GUN collection and performs well in everyday use. The strap is fastened with an original IWC buckle.

      The watch is presented on a wrist with a circumference of 18 cm.
