    Case

    The round 24-mm Oyster case is crafted from 14-karat yellow gold. Its classic profile combines a compact body, slender lugs, and a decoratively fluted ring surrounding the dial. The narrow lugs emphasize the watch’s jewelry-like proportions without overshadowing the central part of the watch. The crown is positioned at the 3 o’clock position, and a solid, screw-down caseback seals the case from below. The design, which omits a date window, eliminates the need for a magnifying lens above the date, allowing the dial to maintain a clean, symmetrical layout.

    Mechanism

    Reference 67197 features the Rolex 2130 mechanical caliber with automatic winding and a central seconds hand. The movement provides approximately 42 hours of power reserve when fully wound. The display is limited to hours, minutes, and seconds, with no calendar complications. The automatic winding mechanism replenishes the mainspring’s energy while the watch is being worn, and the movement can also be wound manually using the crown. This is a traditional mechanical design that does not require a battery.

    Strap

    The watch comes with an original black strap that contrasts with the warm hue of the gold case.
