    Case

    The round Oyster steel case has a diameter of 24 mm. The smooth, polished bezel provides a subtle frame for the silver dial, and the short, contoured lugs connect the case to the Oyster bracelet. Sapphire crystal protects the three-hand dial, which has no date window and no Cyclops lens, emphasizing the symmetry of the face. The crown at the 3 o’clock position is screw-down, as is the solid case back. The combination of modest proportions, a simple bezel, and a stainless steel construction gives this model a more understated character than the jewelry-style models with decorative bezels.

    Mechanism

    The Rolex 76080 features the in-house Caliber 2230 with automatic winding and a central seconds hand. The movement has 31 jewels, a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), and a power reserve of approximately 48 hours. It is a non-date movement, designed for the smaller Oyster Perpetual cases. The automatic winding mechanism recharges the mainspring while the watch is being worn, and the mainspring can be wound further using the crown. The seconds-stop function facilitates precise time setting.

    Strap

    The Oyster steel bracelet features a distinctive three-row link design and a folding clasp. The wide center links give it a simpler, sportier look than the fine-link Jubilee. The bracelet’s tapered ends complement the slim case. The silver tone harmonizes perfectly with the dial color shown in the documentation.
