    Description

    An original pre-owned watch in excellent condition. The Franck Muller Cintrée Curvex Biretro Chronograph is one of the most iconic models from the manufacturer known as the “Master of Complications.” The watch combines the world-renowned Cintrée Curvex case with the striking Biretro Chronograph complication, which uses retrograde indicators instead of classic chronograph counters. This particular piece is crafted from 18-karat yellow gold and is a perfect example of Franck Muller’s creative approach to traditional watchmaking.

    Reference number 7850 CC B Comes with the original box. First sold in 2012. The manufacturer specifies a water resistance rating of up to 30 meters.

    Case

    The iconic Cintrée Curvex case is crafted from 18-karat yellow gold and features a distinctive barrel-shaped profile. The watch measures 42 mm in width and approximately 50 mm in length, with a thickness of about 14 mm. The silver dial is adorned with hand-applied Arabic numerals—a hallmark of the brand—arranged in a dynamic layout. The central element of the design is two retrograde displays responsible for measuring the chronograph’s minutes and seconds, creating a unique visual effect when the stopwatch is in operation. The entire watch is protected by a domed, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The crown, bearing the FM logo, harmoniously complements the elegant chronograph pushers, emphasizing the model’s luxurious character.

    Mechanism

    The watch is equipped with the Franck Muller Calibre MOP 4500 B automatic movement, developed specifically for the Biretro Chronograph models. The movement features hours, minutes, a date display, and a chronograph with a dual retrograde display. The movement features 37 jewels, operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), and provides approximately 42 hours of power reserve. The distinctive retrograde displays are among the most recognizable complications in Franck Muller’s portfolio and perfectly showcase the manufactory’s craftsmanship.

     

    Strap

    The model features an elegant brown alligator leather strap. The leather’s distinct texture complements the warm hue of the yellow gold perfectly, highlighting the watch’s classic and luxurious character. The design is complemented by an original folding clasp made of 18-karat yellow gold, ensuring high comfort and security while wearing.
