    The PIAGET Vintage Automatic, reference number 13772, is an exceptionally elegant watch that embodies the distinctive design of the Swiss manufacture from the 1970s. The rounded, rectangular case made of 18-karat yellow gold, the gold dial, and the ultra-thin automatic movement come together to form a classic composition with a distinctly luxurious and timeless character.
    The watch offered here has the serial number 30…. and dates from around 1975. It is a pre-owned watch, offered without a box or documentation—the watch only. Due to the model’s age and the lack of a current water resistance certification, the watch should be considered non-water-resistant and protected from contact with water.     Case

    The rounded, rectangular case, measuring approximately 32 × 30 mm, is crafted from 18-karat yellow gold, as confirmed by the hallmarks visible on the case back. The gold dial with a brushed finish features applied hour markers, slender gold hands, and a date window at the 3 o’clock position. The minimalist design of the dial, the “Piaget Automatic” signature, and the subtly rounded lines of the case emphasize the watch’s elegant character.

    Mechanism

    The watch is equipped with the ultra-thin, in-house Piaget Caliber 12PC1 automatic movement with a date display. The caliber features 30 jewels, operates at a frequency of 19,800 vibrations per hour, and offers approximately 40 hours of power reserve. A distinctive design feature is the off-center micro-rotor made of 24-karat gold, which allows the movement to remain exceptionally thin.

    Strap

    The watch features an original black alligator leather strap bearing the Piaget logo. The classic texture of the leather complements the gold case and dial, emphasizing the watch’s elegant, formal style.
