    Description

    The Roger Dubuis Hommage, reference number HO40.14.5.N1R.7AR, is an exceptional example of classic haute horlogerie. The model combines an 18-karat rose gold case with a light mother-of-pearl dial, large Roman numerals, and the in-house RD14 automatic movement. The distinctive lugs, slender bezel, and small seconds hand create an elegant composition reminiscent of traditional dress watches.
    This piece comes from a limited edition of just 28 pieces and bears the individual number …/28. The watch was first sold on August 1, 2008. The model’s rated water resistance is 5 ATM, or 50 meters.

    This is a pre-owned watch, offered with original Roger Dubuis documentation, including a certificate of origin and warranty, a Geneva Seal certificate, and a movement inspection report. The original box is included.

    Case

    The round case, with a diameter of 40 mm, is crafted from 18-karat rose gold. Its polished surfaces, slender bezel, and characteristically shaped lugs highlight the classic style of the Hommage collection. The light-colored mother-of-pearl dial features large, irregular Roman numerals, central hour and minute hands, and a small seconds hand positioned at 6 o’clock. The red markings on the small seconds scale provide a subtle pop of color, contrasting with the black hour markers and the warm hue of rose gold.

    Mechanism

    The watch is equipped with a Roger Dubuis in-house automatic movement, caliber RD14. This caliber was introduced in 2004 as the first automatic movement developed in-house by Roger Dubuis and provides approximately 48 hours of power reserve.
    The movement in this particular watch bears the number 1359. It underwent chronometric testing at the Besançon Observatory in accordance with ISO 3158, as confirmed by the test certificate issued on June 23, 2005. The movement also bears the prestigious Poinçon de Genève—the Geneva Seal—which attests to the high standard of construction, finishing, and assembly.

    Strap

    The watch features an original black alligator leather strap that harmonizes perfectly with the light-colored dial and rose gold case. The strap is fastened with a buckle made of 18-karat rose gold, in accordance with the specifications listed in the watch’s original certificate.
